The Chief Executive’s Farewell Meeting with Indonesia’s Ambassador to Kabul

Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan met with Mr. Anshory Tadjudin, Indonesia's ambassador in Kabul and discussed on issues relevant to both countries.

The Chief Executive appreciated four-year performances of Indonesia’s ambassador and wished him more success.

Dr. Abdullah called Afghanistan and Indonesia friend countries and thanked Indonesia for its support from Afghanistan's stance in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

The Chief Executive cited that expansion of cooperation between the two countries in religious and cultural fields is important and should be further expanded.

Anshory Tadjdin emphasized on his country's commitment to cooperation with Afghanistan in various fields and reiterated they are interested in developing relations and expanding cooperation with the Afghan government and people.

He added that Indonesia supports the peace process in Afghanistan and expects the efforts to be associated with achievements.

Mr. Tadjdin gave information on granting scholarships to the Afghan students and stressed this trend will continue.
