Four Residential Blocks of Lala Town, which Have More than 200 Apartments, Will be Distributed to Army Forces in the Ministry of Defense

Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan met with the deputy Ministries of Urban Development and National Defense and discussed report of the appointed board to review Lala Residential Town located in Qassaba.

First Lt. Gen. Ghulam Sakhi, Provision and Logistics Deputy of Defense Ministry said, “According to decision of leadership of the National Unity Government, a number of blocks of Lala residential town located in Qassaba were about to be given to army forces in the Ministry of Defense but they have not approved by the appointed board and that’s why the Ministry of Defense wants the Ministry of Urban Development to give other blocks of the same town to army forces.

Ajmal Shams, Deputy Housing of the Ministry of Urban Development presented a brief report to the Chief Executive in this regard and said, “Ministry of Urban Development’s technical team will respond to all concerns of Defense Ministry about blocks of Lala town and will provide convincing reasons that there are no technical problems.

The Chief Executive, after assessment of the needs and reasons of the two sides, made a decision that the Ministry of Urban Development will soon give three blocks to the Ministry of Defense on its demand and undertake work of another block.

It is noteworthy that the four residential blocks, which have more than 200 apartments, will be distributed to army forces based on their need.
