The Chief Executive: We Call for Cooperation in Scientific and Cultural Fields with China

Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan today met with officials of Academy of Social Sciences of China and discussed on China-Afghanistan relations in cultural, scientific areas as well as commerce.

Members of the Chinese delegation said they are considering developing their cultural and scientific relations with Afghanistan.

They mentioned Xinjiang state of China as a clear example that is ready to develop its relations with Afghanistan.

The Chief Executive said that cultural and commercial relations between Afghanistan and Republic of China have a long historical background and now it is time to consolidate and develop these relations.

Dr. Abdullah added that expansion of scientific cooperation with China, especially in the area of sharing experiences and capacity building of youth is of a great value.

The Chief Executive reiterated that relevant Afghan institutions are ready to develop and strengthen their cooperation with Academy of Social Sciences of China in scientific and cultural fields.
