Ambassador of Pakistan to Kabul in a meeting with the Chief Executive stressed on improvement of relations between the two countries

Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan had an introductory meeting with Zahid Nasrollah Khan, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Afghanistan.

Ambassador of Pakistan emphasized on improvement of relations between the two countries, adding that the expansion and consolidation of relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan could reduce existing challenges and ensure security and stability. He added that in his new mission, he would pay attention to this issue.

Welcoming Zahid Nasrollah Khan, Ambassador of Pakistan to Kabul, Dr. Abdullah expressed hope that his appointment to this position would help improve relations between the two countries.

At the same time, the Chief Executive mentioned good relations and mutual respect as the basic principles of foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan with neighboring countries

The Chief Executive considered the role of TAPI and Casa 1000 projects effective in bringing the two countries close together and added implementation of these projects will further improve both countries’ relations.
