The Chief Executive meets with the UN Special Representative in Kabul

Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan today met with Tadamichi Yamamoto, special representative of the United Nations Secretary-General in Afghanistan in his office at the Sepidar Palace.

During this meeting, Mr. Yamamoto informed the Chief Executive of his visit to New York as well as his report to UN Security Council members.

The UN special representative in Kabul said that the message of the UN Security Council members is that political stability in Afghanistan would be possible through participation of all parties.

Tadamichi Yamamato said the international community would not surrender to terrorism and would support Afghanistan.

Also, the Chief Executive expressed gratitude to the United Nations for its efforts to resolve tissues of Afghanistan.
