The Chief Executive Travels to Ghor Province

Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, at the head of a high-level government delegation traveled to Ghor to assess the security situation and the local governance in the province.

Officials and elders of Ghor province in Firozkooh welcomed the Chief Executive and his accompanying delegation.

First, the Chief Executive, at an extraordinary meeting, led the provincial military council in an effort to examine and analyze the security situation of the province.

Then, at a meeting with the governor and officials of local departments, the Chief Executive will evaluate development projects and local governance in Ghor.

In this visit, the Chief Executive was accompanied by Ministers of Education, Rural Development, Energy and Water, Disaster Management and Deputy IDLGs, National Security, Head of the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, a number of MPs and advisors to the chief Executive.
