The Chief Executive Visits Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ) and Amkodor Company

Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and his delegation visited the Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ).

In this visit, general director of MAZ presented a detailed description of their progress in the production of heavy vehicles to the Chief Executive.

General Director of MAZ, Demitri Katrinich, spoke of the global credibility of their vehicles, saying that their products are now being sold in Europe and Africa. He also announced plans to cooperate with Afghanistan.

At the end of the visit, the Chief Executive wrote a few sentences in the visitors' book and expressed his satisfaction with the development of Belarusian industry.

Also, the Chief Executive visited Amkodor Construction machinery and equipment.

Vladimir YanKoshkov, first deputy of Amkodor Company provided information about their production of machinery and equipment to Dr. Abdullah and his delegation.

Amkodor Company officials spoke about their interest in working with Afghanistan.

Praising production of construction machinery and equipment, the Chief Executive said that Afghanistan is ready to cooperate with Belarus in economic and industrial areas.

During the visit, the Chief Executive was accompanied by Belarusian Minister of Industry, heads and officials of the mentioned companies.

The leaders of the two countries are about to sign agreements and MOUs on economic-commercial, legislative and justice areas.
