The Chief Executive, in a Meeting with British Ambassador: Holding Valid and Fair Elections is our Main Goals

The Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan met today with British ambassador Nicolas Kay in his office at the Sepidar Palace.

At the meeting, the latest security-political situation, holding valid and transparent elections as well as peace talks were discussed. Both sides condemned the brutal attacks of the terrorists on city of Ghazni and called for stopping war and achieving a just and lasting peace.

Both sides emphasized on holding fair elections and supporting for Electoral Commissions, and considered transparent elections a step towards stability in Afghanistan.

The Chief Executive repeated his commitment to holding fair and free elections and called realization of such a wish as one of his main goals and objectives.
