The Chief Executive Meets with British High Commissioner in Islamabad

Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan met with Thomas Drew, British High Commissioner in Islamabad in his office at the Sepidar Palace, while British Ambassador to Afghanistan, Nicholas Kay, accompanied him.

Relations between Afghanistan and Britain, relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan, peace talks and how to achieve peace, political and security issues were discussed at the meeting.

Appreciating the UK for its contributions and presence, the Chief Executive called the role of this country significant in improving the situation in Afghanistan and in the region.
