The Chief Executive Meets with the Newly-Appointed French Ambassador to Kabul

Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan met with Mr. David Martinon, the newly-appointed ambassador of France to Kabul in his office at the Sepidar Palace.

The Chief Executive, calling France a good friend of Afghanistan, praised France for its assistance and cooperation with Afghanistan. The Chief Executive wished Mr. Martinon success in his new mission.

The newly-appointed French ambassador to Kabul expressed pleasure with the Chief Executive's meeting and declared his country’s support from the Afghan-led and Afghan-owned peace process, and holding transparent and democratic elections. He also emphasized that France would remain with the people of Afghanistan and would continue to support the Afghan government and nation.
