Chief Executive leaves for Uzbekistan to attend the Summit of the Heads of States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization

Sapedar-Kabul: Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, heads to Uzbekistan to attend the 18th Summit of the Heads of States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) along with a high-level government delegation in Tashkent.

The Chief Executive of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan attends and speaks at the meeting of the Heads of State Council of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on behalf of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

Chief Executive On the sidelines of the SCO Summit meets with the Prime Ministers of the Russian Federation; the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, the Republic of Tajikistan, the First Vice President of Iran, the Defense Minister of India, the Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the High-Level Representatives of a number of other countries.

At the summit, Heads of States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization discuss regional political and security developments, economic cooperation, joint ventures, development, counter-terrorism, extremism, and common regional challenges.
