Chief Executive Bids Farewell to Outgoing Sri Lanka's Ambassador

Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah called a farewell meeting with the ambassador of Sri Lanka to Kabul of met with Mr. Gagan Pulasthi, Tuesday afternoon, at Sapedar Palace in Kabul.

At the meeting, the Chief Executive appreciated the role of Sri Lanka's ambassador in improving and expanding relations and cooperation between the two countries and wished Ambassador Pulasthi success in his future endeavor.

wishing peace and stability for Afghanistan, Sri Lankan ambassador expressed delight over the accomplishment of his mission and said that he would always remember the memories he has had in Afghanistan and assured of his country’s continued cooperation in Afghanistan.

The Sri Lankan ambassador described his mission in Afghanistan as unforgettable and assured of peace and stability in his country, continuing his country's cooperation with Afghanistan.

The peace talks and the presidential election were also discussed at the meeting.
