EU Member States: We Support the Transparency in the Election Process and Achievement of a Lasting Peace

 

Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah held a meeting with ambassadors and diplomats of EU member states at his office in Sapedar Palace.

During the meeting, the Chief Executive talked about the presidential election, the process of dealing with electoral complaints, efforts to bring about peace, and the importance of relations and cooperation with the European Union.

The ambassadors and representatives of the EU member states also reaffirmed their continued cooperation with Afghanistan, emphasizing the transparency of the electoral process and supporting peace efforts.

Chief Executive Abdullah appreciated the European Union for its cooperation in Afghanistan and praised its member state’s stand on supporting the transparency of elections and peace efforts.
