Chief Executive Meets the U.S. Chargé d'Affaires To Kabul

Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah met with Ambassador Ross Wilson, the U.S. Chargé d’Affaires to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan at Sapedar Palace in Kabul.

At the outset, the two sides discussed presidential elections, electoral complaints, the peace process and regional issues.

The Chief Executive considered sustainable peace to be the wishes and aspirations of the Afghan people, and emphasized all-out efforts to achieve lasting peace. They also emphasized the principle of transparency in the presidential election.
